Brett and Audrey

For fall break, it was decided we needed to visit Audrey and Bret and check out their new home.  Their first home is wonderful with plenty of blessings and happiness to be found within the walls.   It reminded me a lot my grandparent's home in Cody, they share a lot of similarities.

Audrey and Bret sure do you know how to host and show you a good time.
Saturday morning Bret took Jotham and big boys pheasant hunting.

Now, Jotham's an excellent shot and has tried his hand a bird hunting a couple of times with no success, birds can be hard to find apparently, so it was nice to have a local guide with a few extra birds to let loose.

Success!

That afternoon Bret showed us around the farm and took us on a 4-wheeling adventure to some local hieroglyphs on Goat Mountain.

While exploring the rocks and taking pictures Audrey demonstrated the Yardley pose.

Its pretty obvious, Bret's had a little bit of practice with the "pose".

Hyrum also got a real lesson in the reason cowboys wear boots,
no stickers in their shoe laces:

And Emmaline just stole the show wherever she went,
her Grandma and Grandpa Yardley seriously dote on her!

And of course, we had to take a picture of Gavin in front of the Giant "G" in Gunnison on our way out of town!

After we left Gunnison we stopped for a visit with Sam and Ariel to play games and then slept the night at Beth's. She's always so good to put us up for the night.  Then early Sunday morning I dropped Jotham off at the airport and then returned to go to church with Aunt Beth and Eliza.
