Swan Road Camping

Finding a weekend when we could go camping as a family this summer with everybody there was nigh-near impossible.  Desperate times led to despereate measure, and I made Jotham take a day of work and we headed up on a Monday.

Matt's kids Ben and Isabelle were in town so they came with us.

It was awesome, but let me tell you, having two 12 year-old boys together while camping really magnified their "deacon-ness" and I found new respect for Scout masters everywhere.

We had such a nice time...

laughing and being silly.

and enjoying the time together.

Hyrum's elementary jump rope classes even came in handy.

After forgetting the plug to our air-matress and a long night on the ground,
Jotham and I woke up and enjoyed taking a morning nap in the hammock.

We have some pretty good crack shots in the family.

Oh, how we just really enjoyed being together in the canyon.

It just wasn't long enough... we'll need to go back...
