One of the things that I'm discovering to love with a house full of teenagers is
Homecoming week.
The color fest was tons of fun:
So grateful it didn't dye Hannah's hair pink this year.
Decades Day:
Hannah rocking my old look from the 90s
Mark looking smooth from the 1980's
Hyrum went all old, old school - 1920's
Watching Hyrum cheer for the powder puff game
was an adventure in and of its self.
Always love us some parades!
Hyrum took Maren Hatch to the dance. After fielding lots of comments about dating his cousin he posted on Instagram that he "would highly recommend taking your 8th cousin twice removed to any dance" - don't they make a handsome couple?
He hosted the day date at our house
and they made some pretty incredible pancake art.
Hollie has started doing a sewing 4H group and learning how to make all kind of fun sewing crafts.
We floated the river here by our house for the first time.
It might need to become an annual event.
Hollie played volleyball.
Gavin played soccer.
Giving Hollie a new bike,
encouraged Gavin to finally master his.
We enjoyed a trip to the American West Heritage Center
and corn maze with Jill and family.
And Mt. Naomi, the highest peak in cache valley.
All in all a pretty great fall - but the definite highlight would have to be
Darren and Loalee coming home. They have been missed!
