We've been here 7 weeks, its slow progress...but we have completed a few items off the list of to do's, so to make myself feel better, I thought I'd share some of things we've accomplished:
1. Pulled weeds, and then our neighbor offered to come mow them down with his tracker - Thankyou and Hallelujah!
2. Installed a lot of light bulbs and electrical cover plates
3. Installed a dishwasher
4. Installed three brand new toilets (so exciting, I know...)
5. Installed new lock sets (Thanks so very much Darren!)
6. Trimmed the doors down, so they are easier to open and close. (apparently a pet pev of Jotham's)
7. Tried to fix a few leaks, and then just hired a plumber, because as handy as Jotham is, a plumber he ain't.
8. Installed shower rods and shopped for and bought and returned countless shower curtains
9. Fixed the shower door, installed a new shower light and seriously scoured the basement shower
10. Painted the front door. Jot painted the inside blue and I LOVE it!
11. Painted the boys room. I'm so proud of myself, I let Hyrum pick the color and then even found some new duvets that matched perfectly!
12. Painted my new craft cabinet, my craft room is going to be fabulous!
13. Patched a few holes in the walls
14. Sheet rocked the garage, and then realized they'd probably ripped it all out in order to fix the electrical issues only a day too late to do anything about it, so that's frustrating... the three-way switches in my garage may never work. This is still a work in progress.
Its amazing how pictures on the walls really makes a house more homey. It took me a while to figure this out, because I really wanted to paint before I hung pictures, but couldn't decide on paint colors because I wanted the walls to go with my new couches and I'm having hard time finding or is it deciding what I want?
