Mark's Baptism

The night before Mark's baptism, it stormed all night long and then at about 4am the power went out and didn't return until after the baptism.   But the morning dawned clean and crisp, bright and clear, just like a baptism.  It was beautiful.   A most excellent day to get baptized.   As is typical of Mark, he took everything in stride that day, wasn't nervous a bit.   I really love baptisms and I especially love Mark and the good choices he is making!

After the Baptism we came back to the house for brunch, and later that afternoon we went canoeing at the Benson Marina.  I love canoeing, especially with Jotham.  Its so relaxing, he lets me just sit and watch him paddle and I think I might fall a little more in love with him every time.   Just something about canoeing...

The next day Jill blessed her baby, Alauria.  We went to church with them.  Mark and Ben were both so excited to be wearing new suits, they went and made themselves some Missionary Tags.  They were so very handsome and will make some mighty fine missionaries one day.
