No April Fool

Allergic reactions aren't necessarily new with Gavin, he's had similar reactions with breath mints and onions, but we weren't laughing when the whites of his eyes started swelling, causing his pupils to look dimpled.   In fact we were quite worried. We were just entering the ER, when Jotham's brother, Rustin, our favorite optometrist, returned our call and suggested we head to an eye doctor because they would be better equipped to help.  So after a long, worrisome hour in the waiting room, the doctor finally relieved our fears, remarking that it looks worse than it really is, with no permanent damage.   He just sent us home with over-the-counter antihistamines and suggested calling back if the swelling didn't disappeared by the next the next day.   And it did, so all is well.  Other than the fact we don't know what caused it and it could happen again... at any... random... moment.  So beware.
