Grandma Geisler's 85th Birthday

Grandma Geisler is one of the most loving and wonderful women I know.
I would have picked her for a friend if she wasn't a gift I inherited through marriage.

What a treat it was to spend the day before baking her a cake to celebrate a
wonderful eighty-five years of love and service!

Still very healthy, she still drives herself around town, volunteers a couple times a week at the local elementary school as a reading aide, actively participates in DUP and several other clubs and still loves to croquette up a storm.

I think Loalee looks alot like her mother.

Grandma passed out balsa wood airplanes to all the great-grandkids in memory of Grandpa.
It was kind of a bitter-sweet reminder that he wasn't there in person...

We enjoyed some nice planned lip syncs and some pretty impressive impromptu ones

Grandma is always so good at mailing birthday cards with a little money tucked inside,
she received many in return in honor of her special day.

Presents and Cake are always fun at parties.

And just a fun picture of a few of my favorite Hatch boys.
