My baby Gavin

These past two years Gavin's been my steady companion.

I'm worried about when he heads off to Kindergarten this fall.

And then it'll be just me.

 Home...Alone.

Nobody to hang out with doing PTA stuff:

Or shopping buddies begging me to buy something:

or random silly picnics while out running errands:

Or hiking buddies:

Or midweek trips to the children's museum:

Mostly I think I'll miss doing the preschool co-op:

I've done it almost every year for the past ten years.
It's sad for me to see this era ending.

I found over 12 pairs of preschool scissors the other day while
I was cleaning out the office drawer.

What's a mother to do with 12 pair of preschool scissors?

and not a single preschooler in the house?

The struggle is real, people.

REAL!

I signed him up for kindergarten the other day, he was so excited:

When Gavin grows up he thinks he wants to be a Hunter and a Dad.

But personally I think he needs to stay little.
