Fall comings and goings

One of the first extra-circular things Hannah did as part of her high school career
involved throwing candy with the choir as part of the Homecoming parade.

The Homecoming festivities continued throughout the week,
and Hannah went to a color-war with one of her friends and had a blast.

The only major downside was that it dyed
her hair bright pink for a couple of weeks.

But the most exciting news about Hannah was that she preformed
her guitar live for the first time at a Pizza joint downtown.
It was huge step for Hannah and really pushed her out of her comfort zone.

She was amazing by the way!

We spent one Saturday loading and unloading our winter wood supply.
Gavin was a good helper.

Gavin lost his first tooth! Special thanks to a caramel apple.
It was a good thing too, he was starting to grow shark teeth.

Hollie loved learning how to play volleyball, and
thinks that next fall is too far away to wait for the next season.

Mark started band and received a brand new trumpet.
He is also the fastest runner in his PE class.

Jotham met up with him one day for lunch.

Hyrum preformed in his first open dance competition.
They did so good for their first time performing!

They didn't make any called backs that first time,
but took fourth place in syllabus swing. Woot! Woot!

We always love us a fall pumpkin walk.
We've been coming here since Hyrum's first Halloween!

It was fun to be able to go with Grandma Jo
and Tawnya and Jill and their families.

The high school had a day off mid-week for parent teacher conferences
so I took advantage of the day to take just Hyrum and Hannah out to lunch and hiking.

Sometimes, I'll admit, I think I'd like having just two kids.
We had so much fun!

But they are so busy, just going, going, going.

So, busy in fact, that when Jotham's company hosted
a night at the corn maze only Mark, Hollie and Gavin
could go with me and am ever so grateful to have been blessed
with three more little people to help keep my hands and my heart full.
