As his sits in my bathroom watching me get ready one morning, Gavin absently picks up and starts fiddling with a pin from my hot rollers. Suddenly, he pipes up. "Mom," he says, "this reminds me of a horse shoe, and a horse shoe reminds me of Dad and Dad reminds me of love and Love... love reminds me of you!"
