End of Spring Highlight Round up

Gavin played Soccer

and a enjoyed a few class field trips

He also adopted several little fish:

and promptly buried them.

Hollie and I had fun together at her class field trip to Hoggle Zoo:

Kids all dressed up for Hawaii day:

Mark had a band concert:

He also learned how fast he was running track after school at the High School a couple days a week and the other days he enjoyed playing Ultimate Frisbee.

The Ultimate tournament in Orem however was wet, wet, wet.

He was loving ultimate so much he played every day at lunch.

But that all came to an abrupt end when he broke his collar bone crashing
into another kid trying to catch a disk one day at during lunch.

The school calls me and at first I'm thinking that the secretaries are over reacting, so I ask to talk to Mark.  I get him on the phone and ask how he is, trying to gauge how bad it is.  He is indecisive, I ask if he wants me to come get him and he says "I don't know... maybe?"  Deciding I'd better head out to assess the situation myself, I was woefully unprepared for what I found as I walked into the office 20 minutes later. Mark was sitting in the middle of the floor leaning against a chair, white as a ghost, surrounded by tissues and ice packs.  One look at him and I knew my boy was hurt bad.

Mark kept getting dizzy and threatening to pass out.
To say I don't do well with injuries would be an understatement.
So grateful Jotham met us at the InstaCare and took over.

In happier news:
Hannah finally got her braces off! (almost three years later).

She had a few more guitar performances.

and a choir one.

Hyrum finished out his year with Enlight with a wonderful concert.
It was a rough year with the red team, lots of up and downs.
In the end he determined not to dance with them in the fall.

We also mourned the loss of a dear family friend.
Our most reliable ride Justus passed away after short bout with colic.
