Mt Rushmore was in our sites,
but snow in Wyoming turned our anticipated trip into a Stay-Cation.
We promised to make it fun for the kids - fun-er even, without the 12 hour drive in the car.
We started out with a trip to Crystal Hot Springs (no pictures) and dinner at Maddox.
The next day we spent our Christmas Money on an adventure at Flowrider.
Boogie Boarding, body rolls and Surfing... We were pretty tricky.
After surfing we enjoyed teppanyaki and for a family
that seldom eats out, it was fantastic splurge.
The next day we did our traditional spring hike up Little Mt.
We packed a picnic and enjoyed some
spring rain and a wonderful adventure.
We enjoyed conference the rest of the weekend, bike rides and just being together.
As fun as it was Mt Rushmore is still on the bucket list!
