Mark and Hollie started off Homecoming week with a colorful bang beginning with Colorfest Monday.
I made them rush home right after because I had purchased tickets to see
Singing in the Rain at the Eccles that same night.
I think our shower is still stained blue and Hollie's hair was tinted green for days to come.
The next few days were full of long band practices and crazy dress up days.
They always looked top notch.
Greased Lightening Day
Cowboy Day
Thrusday, we enjoyed the homecoming parade but missed the band due to pending rain
but it cleared and Mark rocked cheering at the Powder Puff game later that night.
The next night they had an amazing performce with the Marching Band at the football game half time.
Then Saturday was their first Band competion in Payson and Hyrum came up from Snow College to watch their performance. YAY!
Aunt Jill helped us make this beautiful fresh flower wreath.
Mark always has the craziest ideas for group poses.
After pictures they had to rush to dance because Tori was part of the homecoming royalty, then after the procession they came back to our house for a late dinner.
We fed them fancy, smancy, savory MacDaddy crepes and strawberry spinach salad.
Then they went back to the dance for a bit followed by an afterparty.
It was a crazy, busy, whirl wind of a week and Mark and Hollie had a blast, we hardly saw them (except from a distance). I'll be honest, a mighty sigh of relief might have escaped when it was all over and we could stop running and all sit down to dinner together once again.
