When you attend a Junior College you get to celebrate all the milestones.
Hyrum finished his associates degree summa cum laude this spring and is officially 1/2 done with college.
He plans to continue his education at UVU in Orem this fall,
still studying business, marketing and things along those lines.
He's auditioned for their ballroom team and hopes to dance while there but not on their top tour team.
Too much commitment, too much drama!
For now, he is home for the summer and looking for a job.
His friend, Raelyn, came down to watch graduation
and I was grateful I didn't have to sit alone.
The weather was wet and cold and
I had to put on all the layers I brought and almost went
back to the car midway to fetch my umbrella.
After graduation and our photo shoot, we meet up with Audrey and her family and hiked to the geographical center of Utah.
It rained the entire drive to the trail head where we had a quick celebratory picnic
out the back of the car and then miraculously the rain let up for just a bit while we hiked
and then it came back down in torrents just after we fnished.
Ironically, the geographical center of Utah
is located in the same vacinity of Levan, Utah.
(Levan is navel, ie belly button, spelled backwards).
Happy Graudation Hyrum!
