Happy Birthday Gavin!
Gavin had a wonderful 7th birthday, utterly spoiled.
I decorated the mantel in his honor as a good morning surprise.
One day when Gavin was in preschool he started telling Jotham
"I love you to the tree-house on the clouds and back"
every night before bed and every morning as he left for work.
We're not sure where it came from, but we love it
and it always reminds us of our sweet little boy!
That evening Grandma and Grandad come over for dinner and we opened a few presents.
He was so excited to receive a box of instant oatmeal packets from his grandma
that he was almost disappointed when it was revealed that she'd pulled a "Closner"
and had wrapped her present in a recycled box. Although he's enjoyed the fun science projects too, I believe he would have been just as happy with the oatmeal, silly boy!
The family gave him the game Forbidden Island.
A balancing bird.
a few clothes and best of all (according to my party boy)... a friend party the next day.
He ended the day like it started: spoiled.
The next evening seven of his favorite people arrived.
They started working on a UFO craft as we waited for all the kids to arrive:
They had dinner and played a few space themed games.
Oh he had fun!
