applying a fake spray tan to just your face and arms no longer seems odd.
When spending 12 hours a day for three days in row at the BYU Marriot center watching and dancing sounds like fun, so much fun in fact, that you opt to spend another 12 hours there after you are done just so you can watch and don't get home until 2 in the morning.
When gold hair spray and funky drawn- on eyebrows don't freak you out.
When posing with the enemy just might be cool,
since BYU has the best Ballroom team in the nation.
Honestly, watching Hyrum dance at Nationals was amazing.
He has grown and improved so much this year.
I tell people I've spent a heck of a lot just to teach him good posture,
but he's learned so much more along the way.
I loved walking around BYU and taking him to all my favorite spots in our down time.
Like the MOA.
Can't wait to take Hannah back to look at some of the fun art.
Great Aunt Jill even came and spent one morning with us watching him dance.
I'll admit, fun as it was, I was done after two days and more than happy to go home,
even if Hyrum stayed another two days on his own.
But not to worry he had another big competition in Idaho Falls a few weeks later.
He did really well at this comp, earning lots of medals,
placing in almost every event he entered.
Kelli has been such a good partner and I'm looking forward to next year already.
