This year we spent the week leading up to the fourth of July at Willow Flat and as always enjoyed spending time with family and the good ol' outdoors.
We so appreciated Jessianne for planning the event.
Heidi taught the kids how to make rafts and they spent a good portion of one afternoon building and floating their boats.
We hiked up to the spring one morning.
Mark and Ben were enlisted to help create some much needed shade.
and oh, the fun and memories created with cousins:
We had a talent show the last night and Jotham and the kids did a fun Enlarging Machine skit. I wished I would have taken a video of it, so fun! All the little kids wanted to try it out after the talent show. Jori was almost in tears over it and since it was her birthday we thought we'd let her try it out, but worried about what she'd throw in. So grateful it was just a small stick she wanted to enlarge.
Our last night we retired an American flag.
By the end we were all just plumb tuckered out.
