Hannah Spent the first week of summer at girls camp.
And Hyrum spent the second week of summer at EFY.
We've started the summer off right playing with friends. The Hammonds, some old family friends, came into town and we planned on hiking the wind caves and decided to not let the rainy weather deter us. Despite our best plastic rain gear we got drenched, but had a lovely time!
We also enjoyed a trip to Newton Reservoir with some of my favorite people, the Thackers.
We talked Jill and Peter into giving the kids pottery classes in exchange for tennis lessons.
It's been a win, win!
We attempted the mountain man rendezvous but we arrived just in time for everything to close up due to rain, Jotham found one re-enactor still opening selling some fancy bottled root beer and Hyrum came home with some butter beer of Harry Potter fame, he was so excited he ran and put on his Harry Potter tie and wanted to take some picture to document this momentous occasion!
We also did swimming lessons for two long weeks with Aunt Jill and family.
We also spent way too much time at the ball diamond, but Mark discovered he really enjoys baseball and so that almost made it worth it.
