Rob and Darby planned and hosted the whole Closner crew this year. They just finished building their beautiful vacation home on the Columbia River in Wenatchee, Washington. They were so generous with their home and all their toys and we such a had fabulous reunion.
Hyrum learned to waterski.
We all hung out with cousins, big and small.
Second cousins become best buds.
We played on the river and played in the pool and just really played and played.
Saturday morning we went to visit the Dam Museum and learned how the fish ladders work and how electricity is made. Apparently I can only generate 2 lights bulbs worth of energy, most of the kids only lit one light but the men were able to light three bulbs.
Sunday morning we went to church and can we say "sisters" with this little unplanned matchy/matchy!
On the way home we broke our 12 hour drive up and stopped overnight in Baker, Oregon.
We spent the morning at an Oregon Trail Museum and had nice visit, learning how the west was won and settled, if you weren't a mormon pioneer.
I love that picture of Gavin and Spencer, it was so fun to see everyone!
